Student Leaders Needed: If you are currently in the seventh to the eleventh grade and are interested in serving as a leader, we want you! Students leaders work with adults to plan and carry out the various programs of the student ministry. We are currently looking for members to help lead missions, FX, and Fund Raising. Hoodies for Sale: Did you see the sweet hoodies the confirmation class got this year? Do you want one? If you’re a size small I have some good news. I have for smalls left over. You can buy one for $18. First come, first served!

Upcoming Missions

30 Hour Famine: Sign-up now! The famine begins next Friday, February 22 at 6:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to participate but you must SIGN UP by Wednesday! Everyone is asked to pay $10 to cover expenses as well as raise money to help fight hunger. Collection packets are available on the Student Ministry Kiosk. You need a Community Covenant and a Consent Form. You may also want to know these Fasting Facts. If you have a medical condition or something that prevents your from fasting, you can still participate. The point is to raise money to fight hunger. We will finish at 4:00 PM. More than 30 people are already signed up. Don’t miss out! Bring your collection envelopes with you to worship on Sunday… it will be a great place to get pledges!

Student Ministry Summer Mission: The 2008 Summer Mission to Appalachia this July 13-19 is currently SOLD OUT. Despite the fact that we signed up to bring 33% more missionaries this year, we’ve filled all spots in just over a week. We have contacted ASP and asked them about brining a fifth crew. While we are hopeful that we can get one, they weren’t able to give us an immediate positive answer. They told us to expect to know after March 1^st.

Below is the list of students and adults who have committed to the mission with their deposit. Below that is a list of students who have committed with a deposit to join a fifth crew if we get one (if we don’t they will be on a wait list for one of the other crews).
