Announcements

HS FX THIS SUNDAY EXTENDED TO 8:00 PM: Don’t leave (early)! Though starting at the regular time (6:00) the High School FX will end a half-hour late (8:00). We’ve arranged for you to not have school the next day so you can sleep in (that joke always makes me laugh). Don’t miss it!

BRADY QUINN COMING TO INDIAN RUN TO SHARE HIS FAITH STORY: Indian Run’s own Brady Quinn (and Cleveland Brown’s quarterback) is coming to our February 19th 7:00 Thirsty Thursday event to share his faith story. Now listen closely. We don’t have enough room for everyone who wants to come. While we would all like to hear Brady’s story the event is designed to reach out to people who aren’t part of a faith community. So here is the challenge: come and bring a friend who either doesn’t know Christ or is only “sort of” a Christian. This is going to be a great event with a great, no pressure, message (think The Main Event). Don’t miss it. Get your tickets: Tuesday 2/17 or Wednesday 2/18 from 10-11:30 am and 7-8:30 pm or Wednesday. There are a limited number of tickets available at each time slot. Tickets cannot be given out at other times. Maximum of four tickets per adult.

MEETING CHANGE ANYONE WANT TO GO TO DCLA? This summer the Student Ministry is considering taking an elite group of our students to the DCLA Student Ministry Conference. Along with 9000 other students from across the country, we will enjoy top-tier Christian artists, great fellowship, and some of the most moving speakers in ministry to students today. Though students from Indian Run have gone before (five years ago?) its been a long time. They said it was awesome. Are you interested? To find out more about the event, check out the video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfPDEuNrXkY. We will leave on July 10 and return on July 13. Cost for the four days might be close to $500. Anyone interested in more is invited to bring a parent an attend a special meeting on Tuesday, 2/24, at 7:30 in the Youth Room.
